As I've once told you all, Kelli is obsessed with her Cookie Bear. She was watching cartoons and she went and got her chair from her room and a "blanket/towel" to wrap up cookie bear. She told me it was "cold".... even though outside it was about 60 deg. ha ha. She's going to be a great older sister. She is so into caring for her babies and 'Cookie bear'.

Best Friends
Kelli and Tyler played so well together on our trip to Cali. When we got home, every time we'd pass a little boy in the store she'd start yelling.."TYLER!!!!" and when the boy wouldn't respond Kelli would get so heart broken, and look at me like.."whats going on?" She looks at pictures of Danny's family all the time and goes through everyones names but she gets so excited when she sees Tyler. Here is a candid shot of the two of them on the swing in the backyard... it's a rare oppertunity to get both of them sitting for longer 2 seconds.... Hence.... all the toys piled up. Thanks Tyler for playing so well with Kelli. We miss you all so much!!

California Here We Come!
Last week we had the oppertunity to go to Northern California to visit Danny's family. It was a quick trip but it was a lot of fun. We miss them a lot and wish we could see all of them more often but we will definatly take what we can get! It was a lot fun to see Kelli playing with her cousin Tyler. They played so well together. We were also able to spend a couple days with Danny's grandma, Iona. I wish I would of had my camera with me 24-7 because Kelli did so many funny things. Here are just a few pictures of our lil' getaway.

Blocks
Kelli loves to build things and for a few weeks now Danny has been searching for some wooden blocks. Finally, after weeks of searching we found some blocks at Toys'r'us and she couldn't wait to bust them open when we got home. We waited for Danny to get home, and Danny and Kelli sat and played in Kelli's room for what seemed like forever. Her favorite part was definatly waiting for Danny to build a tower and then she'd knock it down and say, "OH MAN!"
Cookie Bear!
For Christmas, my mom gave Kelli and all the grand kids these very soft stuffed animals. Kelli was appropriately given the bear with the name of "COOKIE". She now doesn't go anywhere without this bear and doesn't go to sleep without it. Now, not only do I have to carry a bag of cookies with me, but I know have to carry Cookie bear, a baby, a baby bottle, and sometimes a purse with cell phone and make up. I dont know how I'm going to be able to carry around another kid with me when apparently I already have two! If you ever want to see a real Mary Poppins bag.... come take a look at my purse. You'd be amazed at what I can jam into that thing!
Making cookies!
I like to think of myself as a pretty good cook when my husband lets me enter the kitchen. He loves to cook and create, so by all means... have at it. I just do it cause we need to eat and I dont entirely LOVE to cook. Something that I do love is baking! (mainly cause I like to eat the dough) Danny loves it when I make cookies and so do my brothers which is why I try to send a bag full up to the meeting place (my parents) so they can all partake. Kelli has always been very fond of cookies and if she's ever throwing a temper and we are out to dinner you will see me pull out a small zip lock bag of cookies cause it will give us a few quiet mintues. Kelli loves to help in the kitchen and loves to help add in the ingredients and turn the mixer on....
I was able to catch her in these pictures doing what she loves the most.. just like her mom in so many ways.. this is Kelli eating some of the cookie dough off the mixer! (I was just recently informed that there was a snitch in the family and my neice Lyza told on me that I let her eat the dough. She was making cookies with her grandma Nay and asked for some dough. Her grandma said.."oh we dont eat the dough"... and Lyza said..,"NEE NEE always lets me have some dough!" I always told her not to tell.. and that it was our little secret. It just goes to show you.. no secret is ever safe with a 2 year old!)
Happy Valentines Day!
After she was done putting together the little packages of cards and candies we were able to go to a Valentines Party with all of her little cousins and extended cousins to exchanged v-day cards. She had so much fun. I love that she's getting big enough to understand things that are going on and that she gets so excited about them. Its sad to see her growing up so fast but I love watching her learn and get lost in her own thoughts and imagination.
