BBQ and Spa

We had a nice little BBQ and Scott made of some yummy burgers! Kelli was his little helper and just loved to follow Brody (the dog) around.. Poor thing!

She loves Scott and Larissa and talks about them all the time!

Kelli kept wanting to go in the big pool as well and would drag Larissa with her... Kelli would get waiste deep and say.."I go in the other pool" and her and Larissa would book it to the hot tub.. It wasn't cold in the pool but coming from the hot tub..... it wasn't something that anyone would really want to just dive right into. (unless you're samantha)
Thankyou so much Scott and Larissa for letting us and a bunch of young kids take over your house! We always have so much fun when we get to come down and see you guys and we appreciate you always being willing to open your house to everyone! Hopefully we'll be able to come down and see you again soon! Thanks again!

The Islands

You can only imagine what she is thinking in her head..."Mom! A chocolate milkshake?! You're the best mom EVER!"

My favorite place that I have to hit, other than my real food group of Thrifty's Ice Cream, is The Islands! I love their Northshore Chicken Tacos and of coarse my Cool Breeze drink. I even took a picture of my drink with my phone and sent it to Danny! Ah dang... so delicous! The wonderful mother that I am, I didn't want to share my drink with Kelli... so I got her a chocolate shake!! She had a few frys and drank her whole shake! That's my girl!!!

After words we went to Larissa's work and went shopping at the warehouse. We had to get our hubbies something!! After all, we are eating the best food ever.. its the least we could do!

BUMMIN'

Brooklyn and Kelli bummin'.... thats what Kelli calls swimmin'! Kelli thought she was so big.. she didn't want to use a floater and wanted to be able to jump from side to side like Sami!

Scott trying to hold on to Brooklyn and Kelli.... doesn't seem like it would be that hard but Brooklyn was a crazy person in the water... she was like trying to roll all over the water and was throwing her body around.... trying to hold onto a wet infant isn't as easy as it looks... slippy little one!

It was so much fun to be able to just hang out and chill and then be able to go out back at Scotts house and jump in the pool... and by we I dont mean ME! I got in once.. but during the day but thats enough of that. Kelli loved it so much but she's not scared of the water... so Scott had to lock us in with 'caution/construction" tape on his french doors that are all over his house cause Kelli kept escaping and trying to get in the pool... NOT COOL! We even had a little fire one night and roasted marshmellows and of coarse... Kelli loved it and had it all over her face! It was awesome. She was in heaven.

El Torito Grill

Here at El Torito Grill... the kids didn't want to sit with us at the table... they wanted to sit by the window and look out at the cars and the "ball in the sky.. AKA the sun"

My mom, Scott, Me, and Larissa... Michelle was taking the picture. We even said it was my birthday so we could get some Flan! It was so good... my birthday isn't too far away!! Later that night when I talked to Danny I said..."oh and they sang to me for my birthday!" and it was silent on the other end and then he said.." WHAT? What month is it?" I just laughed and said..."well mine was the next one... its pretty close" I guess I should of been more clear on that.. poor thing thought he forgot my birthday!

The main thing on our agenda when we went down to Cali was to hit all of our favorite restaurants and to of coarse eat as much THRIFTY's ice cream that we possibly could. Our family all time favorite down by Scotts house is El Torito Grill... They have yummy home made tortillas, honey butter, and delicious salsa!! We just eat as much of that as we can and usually end up taking most of our dinner home in a 'to-go' box! Oh man... Its so good. Recommended for anyone going down there soon...

San Clemente Beach.
We went one afternoon to the beach to let the kids run around and play. It was kind of windy so we didn't swim but they had some swings and a slide for the kids the play on. It was so fun to be there and to watch the kids be so excited and curious about it all.. Last time we were in Cali with Kelli she was only a year old so she didn't get to really enjoy it! Hopefully we'll be able to go down soon again in the fall and Danny can play with Kelli in the water...(I'm too chicken to get in.. SHARKS!)

California Here We Come!

This was about 6 hours into our drive down to Cali. The kids were so good! I was so impressed... and I dont know if its cause I wasn't back there but I didn't even get irritated with the yelling and fighting that was happenin in the back seat!! All I could hear was Michelle saying, "Kelli! We dont throw toys!" When we got to Scott's and I was cleaning out the car... I realized what she ment... Toys were EVERYWHERE! I just want to think that Kelli was trying to share with Brooklyn who was infront of her on a different seat!

My sister Michelle, my mom, and I decided to take a quick weekend trip to So. Cali to see my brother Scott and Larissa! It was definatly not long enough especially since we drove down and to top it off.... we brought a 2 year old Kelli, a 1 year old Brooklyn, and a 4 year old Sami. Doesn't that sound like fun?!?! I know what you're thinking....." uh, no it doesn't" but the kids were actually really good and we even drove straight through on the way down and no one even complained! Miracle? I think so.... since none of them took a nap.... (Brooklyn took 2 half hour naps but those dont really count.. lol.) Thanks to my sister for sitting in the back and keeping the kids busy and changing the movies for them (thanks heavens for technology!) and to top it all off.... what pregnant person goes on a driving trip??? I would like to say "sorry" to my mom and sister for making us stop so frequently... lol. Here are a few pics of our 'quick trip'!

Fixin' the Kitchen

For Christmas we bought Kelli a play kitchen which she totally loves and plays with daily. But when we put it together we were missing parts and there were a few cracks on some of the panels. After months of looking for the instructions manual that had her make # on if for ordering more parts, I found it right where it should be, filed away! So a project that I thought was only going to take a few minutes turned into a project that lasted a few hours! Little did I know, that some of the main panels that hold the kitchen together were the ones that were cracked and broken, so Danny had to take the whole kitchen apart again. Kelli was so kind to help her dad work.... Danny 'greatly' appreciated it! While I watched from the Love Sac.. (Three's a crowd, dont you think?)

Colby David Farnworth

Congrats Farnworth Family!


Danny's brother David and his wife Nancy welcomed a new little addition to their family.

Colby David Farnworth was born Monday, May 12th, 2008

He weighed 8 lbs 1 oz, and was 19 3/4 inches long

We wish we could be there to see him and to help out with things. We are so happy for you guys and I am extremely jealous.... All in due time I guess! Hopefully we'll see you soon!

Birthday #2

Kelli was lucky enough to be able to celebrate her birthday twice this year.. and I can't think of anyone who wouldn't want to do that!! We had some of our close friends and family come and party with us. We had delicious food and dessert... followed by a flip flop pinata that Kelli picked out. What can I say... the girl loves shoes! Thank you everyone for making it such a great birthday party!

Happy Birthday and Happy Mothers Day

Well, This Mothers Day was awesome cause I was able to celebrate Kelli's 2nd birthday along with it! We went up to my parents house and ate some yummy food and then had a cake for Kelli. She was so excited because she keeps thinking its Lyza's birthday since she just recently had one. It was such a fun day and I can't believe I have a 2 year old! Time is just flying by so fast!!

Well, my family has been blessed with another handsome BULL BOY! Yeah!!! Seth Douglas Bull was born on May 8, 2008. He looks just like his daddy. Lyza was so excited once I explained to her that the baby in mommy's tummy was now out and she could kiss him and hug him. We are all so excited that he is here...

No more Monkeys Jumpin on the bed

After their movie they all wanted to play in Kelli's bed.... so I put them all in there and this is the song Kelli wanted to sing.. which only ment one thing... disaster! They were having so much fun and I just couldn't even think about telling them "no jumping''....

Movie and Popcorn

While we had the kids over... They wanted to watch a movie in Kelli's room and of coarse have popcorn!! They each had to have their own bowl and of coarse made a mess on the floor but thats ok.. thats what a vacuum is for, right?! Atleast they enjoyed themselves and were somewhat quiet for a little while!

Busy Day!

Today, my sister in law Shaundee was going in to have her baby, so I went and picked up Lyza at her home at about 7:00 am. She came over and we had a yummy breakfast of French toast and her cousins came over as well... Sami, Brooklyn, Thomas, and Nate. It was so fun to havce all the kids over (a little crazy) but what kind of a day is it if its not crazy?! The kids all got along so well and it was an exciting day followed by muliple crazy days of juggeling kids around but it was so worth it. I love em all to death! Here we are getting ready to eat.. gotta love Kelli's bed head hair.

Kelli's First Hair Cut!

I was definatly a little nervous about Kelli going and getting a hair cut. Her hair was so long and it definatly needed a trim to help thicken it up a bit... She isn't one for sitting still for too long so help with that... we of coarse went to Parsons Bakery and she got to pick out her favorite cookie! It helped and she just sat there and let Steph cut her hair.... she doesn't sit still for too long for me to do her hair in the morning so this was a step up! Once again, she has a messy face and is eating a cookie but she looks so cute!

Where's Kelli?

Well, the other day I couldn't find Kelli anywhere.... not in her room.. not in my room... no where! I was calling her name and I could hear her laughing. I peeked under my bed and found her laying perfectly still with a huge grin on her face! She thought it was just so funny...

My lil' guitar hero

Kelli loves to do everything that Danny and I are doing... especially when it comes to video games. She now yells at the top of her lungs, "my turn daddy, my turn!!" She'll say it over and over again, until finally we give in cause we can't take it anymore. (I know that isn't completely the right way to raise a child but there are some things I'm willing to fight about and somethings that I just have to let go..) She's terrible at it but its really fun to watch her so focused on strumming. Danny trys to play the finger part while she strums but she reminds us that, "she's a big girl" and "she can do it herself".... She doesn't make it too far into the song but she is glowing when her turn is over. She's real good about telling other people to take turns, but we are still working on her being able to give it up so others can have a turn.

Side note: I know what you're thinkin.... Brittany wasn't jokin' when she said in 99% of her pictures Kelli has a messy face!

Poor Kitty

Kelli is totally obsessed with the kittens... but of coarse what 'almost' 2 year old wouldn't?! But I dont think this is what the kittens had in store with coming to a "so called better home". Kelli pushes them and takes them on little walks around our place all the time. Duke is usually pretty good about it, but when he decides to jump out, Kelli has an emotional breakdown and doesn't understand why the kittens wont stay in the stroller. Other than the fact that she runs into doors and walls on a regular basis, and it scares them to death, I don't know why they dont like it either!!? Atleast she's working on caring for others, which I'm sure will come in 'handy' when the next little one comes.. I know she'll be my BIGGEST helper!

ps: I really am a good mom, and I do get my daughter ready. She just loves her hair to be down and flowing.. and pay no mind to the fact that in 1/2 of the pictures on my blog she has a very messy face. 99% of the time, I'm not gonna lie, its cookie! But I'm happy to say that wasn't the case in this picture. She had eaten the cake batter off the beater! (cause that is the best part of baking a cake) I'm teaching her all the ropes...I'm sure most of you are thinkin'... raw eggs! good mom? I eat raw batters all the time since I was little and I turned out...... somewhat ok. No one is perfect right?!

Day at the Park

We try to go to the park every Saturday and Danny found this park near our place that had this huge slide.... It was definatly Kelli's Everest but she did it! She does a lot better on slides that aren't completly enclosed.... Like when my sister had to climb up to the top of a play port to get Kelli down cause she was screaming cause she wouldn't go down the slide. Good times. Here are a few pictures of our little adventure!
