BULL FIGHT FACE

I couldn't really get a good shot of it.. but she has a little bit of her uncle Steve in her.. she sleeps with a fight face on. And dont worry.. I'm pretty sure she has his crooked pinky!!! I just thought that she looked cute.. so I wanted to snap a couple pictures of her.

Color with me

The other day while I was picking up the house and doing random things here and there.. I layed Josie on the couch, proped up on a pillow.. I was in the kitchen doing dishes and looked down and saw Kelli laying next to Josie just talking up a storm. She was telling her that she was writing her name, and drawing a dog.. and all sorts of things. Kelli was starting to get mad cause Josie was sleeping and she wasn't looking at her pictures or laughing cause... according to Kelli, "kelli is so silly!!" It was entertaining to listen to Kelli talk and it made me excited to see them bond and grow up and be best friends. My sister is so much older than me... I was always envious of my friends who had a sister close in age.. but now that I've gotten older I wouldn't trade my sister for anything. She's my best friend and does so much for me and for anyone she can. I hope that my girls will treat each other with respect and cherish their relationship!

After I took this picture.. Kelli thought she was going to get in trouble cause I told her not to lay by Josie cause she was sleeping...(and Kelli sometimes isn't the most cautious person... new baby and a 2 year old dont always go hand'n'hand) She started to come up with excuses like... "she wanted to see me color MOM!!!" (mind you that was her YELLING at me.. just to get her point across)
This is when Kelli was yelling at Josie to "LOOK AT MY PICTURE!!!" and then taddeling on Josie for sleeping.. heaven forbid!!

First Bath

For family night, Kelli was over at Grandma and Grandpa Bull's house so Danny and I decided it would be a good time to give Josie her first bath at home. She didn't like it very much up until she was able to suck on either her hand or Danny's. You can only tell my this picture how thrilled she is to be having a bath.

I told Danny he needed to give her the first bath cause he did on Kelli so it could start a little tradtion of... he gave them all their first bath. He didn't want to cause Kelli on her first bath peed all over him. He maned up and decided he could do it-- whats a little pee anyways??
This was the happiest Josie was the whole time.. finally wrapped up all warm in a towel and she has her fingers to suck on!

Sleeping

You forget how much a new baby sleeps.... but its always at the wrong time of the day. Sleeps all day and is up all night... well, fortunatly for us- she's been pretty good lately. Its amazing how the whole time she is sleeping you can just sit and stare at her and not get bored. Although, I do have to say that she is by far the LOUDEST sleeper. She just sits and grunts and makes all these weird noises. It drives me nuts cause in the middle of the night I'm constantly turning on and off the lamp to check on her to see if she's awake.. there isn't any difference in her grunts from when she's asleep to when she's awake!

Making cookies with Daddy

The day that we came home from the hospital with our newest addition Josie, Danny decided that him and Kelli should make yummy chocolate chip cookies. Kelli was down with that because she loves to cook and be helpful in the kitchen and also she loves anything sweet. Especially when she gets to eat some dough!
Kelli helping Dad add in some of the ingredients. Its fun to watch her help in the kitchen.. sure there is usually a huge mess afterwords but thats the beauty of it.. you can always clean up a mess but her starting now and cooking in the kitchen is what she loves!
And her reward for being such a great helper...... a spoonful of dough! Its hard to just stop at one spoonful... so sometimes she gets a little bit more...
Its kind of a dark picture for some reason... but she's just excited about eating dough!

Jaundice

Our little Josie was starting to go jaundice so they had to put her under the lights. Luckily, we found that out before we left the hospital! On Kelli we had to go back. It wasn't major but since our first had it pretty bad the ped just wanted to do it for a day. It was so sad cause I just wanted to hold her but couldn't! Only at feedings. She just had the lights on the bottom and then she was in this little body bag thing... it was quite cute and looked pretty comfortable!
Close up of her face.. you can tell her eyes aren't a huge as Kelli's but still pretty big. She's kind of squinting though.. and was still swollen in her nose and forehead. She looks so different now!

Here is the picture I've been trying to put on for a few days now... I don't know whats going on with our computer but its driving me crazy.. Josie Lyn Farnworth

I can't download any of the pictures.. but she ended up being 6 LBS 9 OZ, 19 Inches long.
She arrived at 1:15 pm... just 4 hours after they induced me. She has pretty big eyes but not as big as her big sister Kelli!! I will post some pictures when I get home! Sorry!! We are so excited that she is here and Kelli is just so excited about "my baby sister!" It will be an adventure to say the least but we are excited to start it. Thanks everyone for all your help and your support!
