Breakin' out the Bumbo
Well, I busted out the Bumbo recently. Josie loves it. She just sits and watches TV on it. She's in that awesome stage where she thinks everyone is talking to her... so she just sits and laughs at the tv cause she thinks they are talking to her. It's hilarious. Kelli also loves to sneak in there and hang out til she has to get out.

Josie Blessing
I think I forgot to do a post about Josie's blessing. It was on October 4, 2008 and she was blessed by her dad. He did a wonderful job and I was so happy that Danny's parents were able to come here from Cali for a couple days. I wish they could of stayed longer but life was calling!! It was so awesome to have my family and our friends come and be there for us. After the blessing everyone came over for soup and dessert. Josie looked so beautiful and so did our little Kelli who was so proud of her sister. She kept holding Josie's face saying, "your so cute!"
Danny's mom Nancy made Kelli her blessing dress and a quilt and also made Josie her own blessing dress and quilt. It was such an amazing dress that Nancy made.. she's amazing at what she does and I'm grateful that she is always willing to make special things that will always be remembered. (dress and quilt pictured below)
PS: We missed my brothers Scott, Ryan, and Greg in the circle.... and also Danny's brothers Dave and Eric. We love you guys and you were missed!

Halloween
We had our family Halloween party at my house this year because my parents were in Hawaii for the last 16 days..(how rude) Josie was a dalmation and Kelli was a witch. It was so much fun and just low key and very relaxing. The older kids played our Wii when everyone was done Trick or Treating.
Above is Josie in her dalmation outfit and Below is Lyza (witch) Kelli (witch) and Sami (dorothy)
Below is the whole gang.... Serge (camper), Amanda, (steve erkle (dont know how to spell that), Rach was a Dancer, Brooklyn was Tinkerbell, and then Sam and Kelli.
Kelli was waiting for Michelle and her family to come. I dont know why her dress looks like it has blue in it.. it was actually purple.
Kelli all decked out in her witch outfit. She started the night with a sucker to quiet her down so I could curl her hair... she had major bed head!

Danny said that Kelli just loved trick or treating. Once she figured out that EVERYONE was handing out candy.. she was exactly what Jerry Seinfeld talks about.. She just wanted to go to every house as fast as she could. Now she has tons of candy and we are hiding it from her so she wont sit and eat it.. and end up sick! Hope everyone had a Happy and Safe Halloween!!!

Snip Snip
Most people know that Kelli hates her hair being done.. she wont leave anything in! The second we get in the car and my back is turned she is pulling out the rubber bands and rubbing her head. So I caved and went and got her hair cut. She got like a little over 6 inches cut. She was so excited. We went to the salon and she was just beaming and saying.."this is so fun mom"... well she was more yelling it cause everyone kept turning around and looking at us and laughing. She did pretty good holding still. The lady that cut it isn't very good with kids cause she would talk to her like she was 12 and not 2 but for the most part and I could put what the stylist was saying into kid friendly lingo! Its a short, A-line bob. She looks so cute. These pics were taken after a nap so her hair was really curly and its hard to see but you get the picture!

Kelli's Chores
Kelli's Chores:
1. Make your bed
2. Feed your fish
3. Empty silverware
4. Clean up toys before naps/bedtime
This was Kelli making her bed the other day. She was so mad that the one corner wasn't being covered by the bedspread. She was literally in her room yelling at her bed to "just FIX" I dont know if she was mad at herself or what but it was hilarious. Then after it was over... (pic below) and still not how she wanted it she gave up.. turned around and saw that she forgot to put her pillow on her bed. She just fell to the floor crying... then composed herself... picked up the pillow and put it on the bed and covered it with the comforter. She was so proud. Now I have to just leave the bed as it is... because she worked so hard I can't go in there and fix it to make it perfect. She'll get it eventually! As for now, I'm just proud that she didn't give up and I think she did a pretty good job for being 2!

I'm just playin!!
Kelli's famous lines are..."i'm just cleanin', and I'm just playin'!!!" But this time she involved baby sister. We came home the other day and Josie was asleep so while I was putting things away I just left her in her seat cause she was sleeping. This is what she woke up to find....
These are of coarse all the necessities that she needed to play with Kelli... a toy pan, carebear, beanie baby, and of coarse toy cake pan. Kelli was in her kitchen cooking and wanted Josie to play along but kept yelling at Josie to, "COOK NOW!" Poor Josie. Her big blue eyes looked so confused when she woke up.
