Playing outside with Tyler

Kelli and Tyler played so well together. They shared very well which made the weekend more enjoyable. This is them outside playing on the deck and hanging out on the porch swing.

Exhausted!

This was really bizzare! Kelli, after eating her turkey dinner, went on the stairs, got her blanket, took her shoes and socks off, and laid on the stairs and pretended to sleep. Any moment that Kelli is laying down and resting Danny and I rejoice! She is a handful but so much fun! She was taught a new game while at Thanksgiving dinner. She would stand at the top of the stairs, throw a ball down to the bottom, and one of her cousins would get it and give it back to her. She repeated this over and over again. The first thing she did when got home from California was go into her room, grab her volleyball, and throw it down the stairs. She yelled at us to get her the ball, but Danny and I just laughed and said, "we don't play those games!" She hasn't tried that game since.

Cooking with Grandma

This is Kelli sitting in the kitchen watching Grandma bake pies! Kelli loves to cook and to be involved in the kitchen. She'll break into the pantry and grab the flour tupperware and say, "mom make cookies!" I'm glad she enjoys being in the kitchen.. she'll be our 'little chef', like her dad.

Thanksgiving in California

This Thanksgiving we were able to fly to California to have "turkey day" with Danny's family. We were so excited because we hadn't seen them in so long and we have never been to Thanksgiving with his side of the family. We were able to spend a few days there and it was a blast! Kelli was able to spend a lot of time with her cousin Tyler who's about 2 months older than her and they got along very well.

Our Little Princess!!

This is a classic Kelli. Always has a huge smile for everyone and is always so friendly. Also, in this picture she is doing her new found love... Climbing! She climbs up on everything she can and jumps or rolls off. Which has led to many tears. It doesn't seem to phase her cause she gets right back up and continues to do it over and over. Its hard to say, "NO!" to that mischievous smile.

Dinner time!

Danny and I love this picture! Kelli thinks its so funny when we say prayer. She folds her arms and squints her eyes and just looks around at everyone else doing it. She is a food lover and every chance she gets she's trying to eat.. especially cookies. So I think its pretty safe to say food is Kelli's forte.

"What? Is there something on my face?"

This is what Kelli looks like about 3 minutes into eating her food. If she doesn't like it, it gets thrown off the plate, either onto the table.... or preferably to her.. on the floor. She also eats with fork in her right hand and then eats with her left hand. Half way through the meal she rubs her face and then twirls her hair to relax once she feels like she is done. Doesn't she looks exhausted?
