Tipee Toe Kelli

Eric, Dannys brother, came up one weekend and Kelli was so excited that she just "couldn't sleep." We had put her to bed, and I told her not to get out of her bed anymore.... So she thought that she'd be so sneaky, and get out of bed, and lay at the top of the stairs so she could hear us playing games and talking.... Doesn't it stink when your sneaky plan backfires, and you fall asleep??? I was just glad she didn't fall down the stairs cause she isn't the calmest sleeper out there!

Kelli is Hilarious!

Tonight, Danny was upstairs brushing the kids teeth, and I was downstairs cleaning the kitchen, and I hear Kelli getting in trouble and being told to go in her room. By the time I get upstairs she is an emotional wreck, and Josie is asleep. I can hear Kelli opening her door, and Danny telling her to close it and re-starting her "time out time."

By this time I have no idea whats happening but I'm already laughing cause the whole thing sounds funny from afar....

I go inside our room and ask Danny what the problem is and he bluntly says,

"Kelli peed in the sink"

I of coarse start laughing my head off.... I find this hilarious. He does not.

Mr. No sense of Humor over here doesn't find anything about this funny....

So I went into Kelli's room and talked to her cause I wanted to find out what the thought process was... and her answer was almost as funny as the action.

"I wanted to do something funny when Dad walked into the bathroom."

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! Talk about the all time back fires.

Like I said, Hilarious! Although, I made Kelli agree to never do it again.

Bring It On Reason #2

So, as Danny and I were making dinner, I look at and see a bring yellow blob out of the corner of my eye in the back yard, looking rather tall for her age, and so I jerk my head around and see that my little 20 month old, has climbed to the top of the fense and is watching the neighbor kids play behind the house in the street. I grab the camera and of coarse, now joining her is her big sister. Kelli who had done this earlier and therefore giving Josie the idea. There they stand, not a care in the world, and both thinking that they are hot stuff. Especially Josie that during all the climbing her skirt has now rolled up and showing her shorts underneath... how embarassing! Well, its quite amazing to watch Josie climb up the fense, since she uses mainly arm strength... obviously she got that from her mom............ but she makes it to the top. Amazingly enough, she can climb back down without a prob til she has about 2 feet left, and then she just jumps.

Some people say that their kids are "Busy" and that they "climb"... but I challenge you. You should see some of the places and things this little 20 month old gets in to.. Which makes me scared for the future.... if she's doing this at 20 months, what will she be doing at 4 years!???? If I had a smaller camera I'd be able to capture some of these places but I never have my camera with me. She likes to do things to make people mad which I find hilarious.... for example: She will go in Mamma Bull's "NO WALK ROOM".... SIT ON THE COUCH, and wait for my mom to come in and see her. Once she has been caught, she runs around laughing til we can catch her. I find it hilarious til I have to re-vacuum, and my mom just gets mad every time. TOO FUNNY!

Thank you Technology

Growing up in the age of technology.... Kelli loves playing her games on the laptop. During her quiet time this is what she does, along with reading books, and obviously reading books has to get done first or else, there is no going back. She loves to play her reading and math games on the computer, which I'm fine with... because of all this so called "technology" its taught her many things that I should of taught her, "technically".... but thanks to movies, cartoons, and computer games, she's learned it from them. When she was a year and a half, out of the blue she started to count to 15, what a strange number to count to, and after further investigation, her favorite show at the time was 101 Dalmations.... ya know.. with the "15 puppies". Some parents frown on computer games, movies, tv, etc... but I say "BRING IT ON!"

The reason for the "BRING IT ON" attitude, is because if you notice Josie on the side of the pictures, climbing and looking so "sneaky"... its because for that short amount of time that anything can hold Kellis attention long enough for her to learn something... the rest of the time they are both jumping, climbing, swinging, building, hanging, re-arranging furniture, and doing all sorts of naughty things in the house and therefore, driving me NUTS.

Cheers to you technology for giving me a sliver of quiet time and peace

Coolest Uncle EVER???

When we were packing up out house, we were watching Lyza and Seth one day, and we had tons of boxes. Seth and Josie went down for a nap, and Kelli and Lyza were starting to get a little Star crazy since its winter time.

Da- Ta -Da-Daaaa!! (Enter Danny)

Danny completly transformed our family room into a full blown house for the girls that had 3 differnet play rooms, and hooked up our laptop for them to watch TV and eat lunch in their new home. After we had used 2 couches and many many boxes it was finished, and the girls were in there and Danny heard the best thing Ever...
Lyza saying, "your dad is the coolest dad ever!" and Kelli saying, "yeah I know"

Victory arms were raised and a bow was taken by Danny. Mission accomplished.

Lyza later said, If we had boxes like this I just KNOW I'd have one of these at my house.

Do I have anything on my face?

Since Josie has been on solid food, which has been quite some time, she INSISTS on feeding herself. I usually try and keep things clean by giving her regular food that isn't runny, like yogurt and pudding. But Kelli was eating pudding and I couldn't let her be left out.

To say that she enjoyed the chocolate pudding would be a HUGE under statement.

She might have chocolate pudding all over, but look at those beautiful pearly whites!

What the...

This is just a random question and I'm frustrated with it..

How come when I update my blog, it doesn't show up on other peoples blogs when they have that update "gadget" on their blog that is suppose to show "updates" mine, NEVER changes. Its been like 5 months on most blogs that shows that I've updated my blog. Technology. Thats why I got rid of that "gadget" cause I wasn't checkin' blogs regularly because it said they hadn't updated.

Anyways, thats my random frustration.
