T'was the Night before Easter
Saturday night we were preparing for Easter with everything that entales. We were baking all day long making homemade rolls, peroski's (spelling??), cinnamon rolls, and Birds nest cupcakes. Meanwhile, fullfilling our parenting duties of coloring eggs and being enthuastic about it.
Below are some pics of our day.....
(above: danny putting extra color in so they would be brighter. When we told Kelli we were going to color eggs, she got so excited, ran down and got her craft bucket out and opened her crayons.. so funny!)

Tired??
On Saturday Danny put his tent up in the family room, so Kelli could watch her movie in there. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up and realized I couldn't move. Kelli had climbed up and fell asleep on top of me. How random was this position??? Notice that we are sleeping the same way with our hands up. So funny.
(*sorry for the underwear shot...... if you come to house (%% of the time you'll see her like this... its her Tarzan mode....She's not too into princess things)

Child Labor??
I'm either doing something really RIGHT or something very WRONG!?!? Every time I empty the dishwasher she comes running around the corner to do her part.. and if I start unloading it, I have to, "put those back!!! Thats MY JOB!" Testy, testy....
If only she had the same enthusiasm about her other jobs.. Making her bed, and cleaning her room. She demands money for those... I dont know how she did it, but she must of called her Uncle Greg. She has her piggy bank that she keeps her money in, "nice and safe so no kids can get it." The funny thing, is that she doesn't want the pennies, she wants the SILVER ones... dang it. How does she know?!?!

My Family
Lately I've been thinking a LOT about my brothers and sister, and how much a love them. When I was growing up I was fortunate enough to be raised in a tight knit family and we've always been that way.. We love and support each other through everything. I was talking with a friend the other day and they had TONS of family drama going on, and it got me thinking how grateful I am that I know that from time to time my family might not do things how I would do them and visa versa, there is never a ILL word made to me about it. We always go with the flow and love each other and are there for each other when we fall. I'm grateful for my sister who is always there for me when I'm having a bad day... without fail, I talk to her by NOON every day. Even if its just for a short minute... with her crazy life of, dance 4 times a week for 5 hours a day, and soccer, and gymnastics, and tumbeling, and YM/YW, and activity days... and being a relief society president... she's there to talk for a minute. My brother Scott who I miss more and more with every day that goes by.. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. He is so kind, and always knows what to say, and seems to make a phone call to me at the right moment. He is awesome, and LOVES my kids and my siblings kids more than anything, and you can tell he cares when him and Larissa are asking about them.. they are the most GENUINE people EVER! Steven, who is the hardest working person I know! He is such a rock solid person and I look up to him in so many ways. He is such a kind and loving father, and UNCLE and will jump down the stairs to save a kid from falling down them... even if its ALL THE WAY DOWN the stairs... You are awesome. Ryan who is probably one of the MOST patient people I know.. He is always willing and ready to help and you can tell that he has a lot of fun with his kids and LOVES the silly things that they do. Ryan is so kind and loving to all the neices and nephews and he ALWAYS makes time to hear their stories and gives them the undivided attention that they want from him. And can find the POSITIVE in anything. Its always nice to surround yourself with people like him. Greg, I dont know where to begin.... We've always fought over stupid things, and still do sometimes.... We like to keep things interesting, but I know he loves me... right greg?!?! I love him and I know he has a special place in his heart for my little girls. He loves all of the kids so much, and they talk about him all the time, and he's so hard working and determined to be the best at what he does with ANYTHING that he does... I'm so grateful for my siblings and for their constant love and support that they give me all the time.. I sometimes wish we could go back to the BC Hardware days and when we'd all end up and MOM & DADS house for lunch just about every day. And nights when we'd play settlers of catan or NERTS til 4 in the morning. I miss those days but knew they weren't always going to be there. I'm glad that we love each other no matter what and KNOW when things need to be said... and when things need to be LET GO. I LOVE YOU GUYS. THANKS for all you do, and I miss you and I miss seeing you... I couldn't ask for a better relationship with any of you or your spouces.. we're all so close and love each other.. XOXO

Josie 7 months old & Sitting up..
Well, she's been rolling for months now, and now she has finally figured out sitting up. I still put a pillow behind her sometimes cause she'll throw a temper and lunge her head back, and BOOM goes the Dynamite, and she's hurt. She is more content now and will sit next to Kelli and play with toys. I'll have to take a pic of her ALMOST crawling. She'll get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth, or she'll get up on her hands and stand up on her feet and just sit there laughing. I can't believe she's getting so big. I'm excited for her and Kelli to be able to play.
My cover was blown... I took one pic and she turned around laughing.
Josie's bathtime with Kelli...
Kelli was so excited to have Josie in there and sitting up. I use to have to put just a little bit of water, and Kelli would be so dramatic... "MOM I'M FREEZING." If its not up to her chest she thinks i'm trying to freeze her out or something.. Today they had so much fun playing, and Josie would lay down in the water and just yell... I think she figured out she sounded different than normal.

Henderson Cabin Trip
Our friends Rachael and Chad asked us if we wanted to go up to their cabin.. and of coarse we wanted to.. so, we went up sunday night and came home monday night. It was a short trip but it was a lot of fun. We got up there, let the kids play, and then they went to bed, and us 4 adults left and road snomobiles to their new cabin which is... well I'm speechless. (shocked??) Oh, and FYI we didn't just leave our kids, Megan was there to babysit. Then we came home, made some cookies, and played games.
Woke up the next morning, and the hubbys took the kids and Megan on the snowmobiles to see the other cabin and then went sledding for a little bit. Then we all came in, made lunch, played games again, and then the kids went out with Rach, Chad, and Danny to the "big hill" for more sledding. By this time it was like a white out.. it was snowing so hard. Megan and I stayed behind to man the fort and someone had to watch the babies. lol.
(above: Ellie and Kelli sitting in a basket to watch Shrek.. what made them think to do this.. we dont know, but it was funny)

Going out on the snowmobiles.
Daddy and Kelli getting ready to ride the snowmobiles.. Kelli loved it.
I have to say that Kelli loved everything about this trip but best of all, when she got back from seeing the new cabin, i said, " Kelli! did you see the new cabin??" and she said.."nope! I went and saw a CASTLE!" it was awesome. so funny. She also loved riding on the snowcat that is perfectly named "THE GREEN MONSTER" when we were riding it she kept saying.."this green monster is nice mom, dont be afraid.." it was funny. I loved how she was re-assuring ME cause she was maybe a little bit scared.
