Snip Snip

Most people know that Kelli hates her hair being done.. she wont leave anything in! The second we get in the car and my back is turned she is pulling out the rubber bands and rubbing her head. So I caved and went and got her hair cut. She got like a little over 6 inches cut. She was so excited. We went to the salon and she was just beaming and saying.."this is so fun mom"... well she was more yelling it cause everyone kept turning around and looking at us and laughing. She did pretty good holding still. The lady that cut it isn't very good with kids cause she would talk to her like she was 12 and not 2 but for the most part and I could put what the stylist was saying into kid friendly lingo! Its a short, A-line bob. She looks so cute. These pics were taken after a nap so her hair was really curly and its hard to see but you get the picture!

Kelli's Chores

Kelli's Chores:

1. Make your bed
2. Feed your fish
3. Empty silverware
4. Clean up toys before naps/bedtime

This was Kelli making her bed the other day. She was so mad that the one corner wasn't being covered by the bedspread. She was literally in her room yelling at her bed to "just FIX" I dont know if she was mad at herself or what but it was hilarious. Then after it was over... (pic below) and still not how she wanted it she gave up.. turned around and saw that she forgot to put her pillow on her bed. She just fell to the floor crying... then composed herself... picked up the pillow and put it on the bed and covered it with the comforter. She was so proud. Now I have to just leave the bed as it is... because she worked so hard I can't go in there and fix it to make it perfect. She'll get it eventually! As for now, I'm just proud that she didn't give up and I think she did a pretty good job for being 2!

I'm just playin!!

Kelli's famous lines are..."i'm just cleanin', and I'm just playin'!!!" But this time she involved baby sister. We came home the other day and Josie was asleep so while I was putting things away I just left her in her seat cause she was sleeping. This is what she woke up to find....

These are of coarse all the necessities that she needed to play with Kelli... a toy pan, carebear, beanie baby, and of coarse toy cake pan. Kelli was in her kitchen cooking and wanted Josie to play along but kept yelling at Josie to, "COOK NOW!" Poor Josie. Her big blue eyes looked so confused when she woke up.

Carving Pumpkins

This is Danny carving his pumpkins.. Yeah for Halloween! They were hard to carve because they had these weird spots that I didn't notice so it was hard to see our lines.... but it was still fun.. Kelli kept saying..."what are you doing to it?" It was fun to see her get so excited about all these fun activities.

Twinners

It's hard to be a big sister...... or maybe I should say the YOUNGER sister...
Josie and Kelli have the same PJ's and Kelli, if she could keep hers clean longer than one night would love the be the "same same" every night with Josie. As you can see, Josie loves it when Kelli holds her.. Kelli loves Josie so much and will just walk up and put Josie's face in her hands and say.."I love you my baby jos." I'm excited that they are pretty close in age and will grow up to be best friends. With of coarse the every day fights that are just bound to happen!

Preparing for Halloween

Every year we get together with our friends Justin and Jennie and we build haunted mansions. This year Danny and Justing decided to do a Louve with a twist. They had a hack saw for cutting and trimming up all the pieces. Jennie and I watched and let the men do the "manly" work and then we decorated. By the time it was our turn to do the decorating the kids were tired and ready for bed so we just threw up some decorations. It was so fun to get together and do this with them. And how spooky does that look? ha ha!

I'm Just CLEANIN' MOM!!!!

I walked in my bathroom the other day to find this... Kelli was "just cleanin." She was spraying a water bottle and using toilet paper to wipe it up. It was a huge mess and water was everywhere... all over the walls... puddled up on the counter top and all over the floor. She was being a "big help!" I was downstairs cleaning and she thought she'd do her part. How thoughtful.
As you can see... the water dripping all down the wall and its all over the mirror. haha. Gotta love it!

I got tagged like forever ago and have been putting it off... I have so many picture posts that I have to do but those take up so much time.... So I'm going to waste my 30 min and do this!

I am....... exhausted! Kelli has been sick, and Josie isn't going to bed til about 3 every morning!

I think... that this is going to take longer than 30 min

I search... for DANNY's keys on a daily basis

I wonder.... if Danny we'll agree to have another kid

I regret.... nothing. because everything i did in my past led me to where i am today!

I love..... getting a pedicure and want one REALLY bad but I no longer have the pregnancy
excuse!

I care..... about trying to keep my house clean... but i live with a very messy 2 year old who could care less... he he!!

I always..... have to be doing something.. I get bored REALLY fast

I worry..... about raising two little girls

I am not..... happy about the presidential candidates

I remember.... everything! I have a vivid memory.. shockingly.. but a weakness is..I tune people out sometimes... SORRY! I start thinking of things that were said and forget that we're still talking!

I believe..... in Christ

I sing........ usually only to loud music or princess songs with Kelli.

I argue.... rarely. I usually just close up like a clam and walk away but continue an argument in my head.. Later when I have had the voice of reason.. i can talk about it.

I write..... posts and am starting a family journal

I win...... never when playing with danny, he wins everything. Its so not cool. On a rare occasion I will win.

I lose..... Josie's bink

I listen..... to everything and everyone. I'd rather be listening than be the center of attention

I don't understand..... why its so hard to think of my answers!

I can usually be found..... danny would say shopping... but i dont really love shopping... i love DOING something.. I need to gain a talent to do at home that i dont get bored of. thats my problem!

I need.... someone to clean my house cause i'm exhausted doing it. I'll clean it, go upstairs, and come back down and it looks like a party came through and i missed it!

I forget.... to GIVE bday presents.. i buy them---but it takes me a long time to give them. Example: I bought Chase VandanAkkers present before his birthday in Sept and I finally gave it to Danny to take to them at work (its now at the office) They were even over for dinner and I forgot to give it to them. (its not even wrapped... ha ha. I dont have anything to wrap it with)

I am happy..... hanging out with family and friends on a daily basis
