FYI
Just so you know... I haven't been able to update my blog because our computer was broken, and then the power cord to our lap top was broken so I've been without computer for weeks now. Then we finally got a new power cord and for some reason the computer wont read my SIM card from my camera. So, I think I have to wait for our other computer to return home! The family is doing well though and I'm SOOOO over being preggers! The heat is killin' me. ha ha. All in due time....

Camping at Washington Lake
My family loves to go camping! Although I have to admit I haven't been "real" camping in a long time! I've been spoiled by my parents trailer with running water, toilet, stove, BEDS, etc... But this year... we were able to fully enjoy the trailer since it rained literally the whole time we were camping up in the uintahs. As if that isn't bad enough we had a energetic 2 year old who wanted to play and jump and be everywhere but in the trailer. So thanks to modern technology.... we popped in one of her favorite movies! Michelle and her family were able to come up in Serges parents trailer so all in all we atleast had good places to sleep and hide away from the down pours and mass amounts of mosquitoes!!
Don't they all look so THRILLLED to be there??

Parade
Right after we moved into our house, our neighborhood/ward had a street parade. Kelli got to decorate her bike with her daddy and then ride down our street and the parents and on-lookers would throw candy at them... Kelli was obviously thrilled about that! Grandma and Grandpa were able to come and watch. Kelli was so excited about it all.... and you can only assume how excited Danny was!

4th of July
This 4th of July was so much fun! Every year my grandpa sings in a choir called, Men of Song. They do performances all over but every 4th of July they sing at Layton park just a few days before the 4th. Its so fun to go there and watch him sings all these great songs about our country. We are all so proud of you Grandpa! We look forward to going to that every year.

This was us at the Kaysville 4th of July parade. It hit me this year how boring parades can be when you are 8 months pregnant and just sitting watching everyone run for the candy... that I so desperatly wanted but didn't want to run over all the kids to get it.. ha ha. But Kelli had so much fun. Its nice to be living in a city where you can have your kids a few yards away from you and not have to be completly uptight about being right next to them... granted I didn't just leave Kelli to watch the parade while I sat in the shade in a lounge chair, I had my nephew and niece watch her! I watched them all growing up... now the tables have turned! Kelli most of all loves being with her Papa and my dad is always so patient with all of the grand kids. Thanks dad!!
The best part of going to the Kaysville parade is the huge water fight everyone has after all the floats have gone by.... then the fire trucks come, and all these water tanks and just hose everyone down! I think the best part is watching everyone run away from the water.... Look at that hose... I hope they get a better running start next year!
Kelli fell asleep watching a movie on the way home from the parade and lunch.... To say that she was tired would be a major understatment!

The Little Gym
During the spring and the summer I put Kelli in a gymnastics class to release all that energy!!! It was the best thing.. She absolutly loved it! She learned so much and had so much fun having a class to go to once a week. She talked about it constantly and loved the routine of the class. She made so many friends. I must admit it got kind of tiring as I got further along in my pregnancy since it was a "mommy and me" class so I had to participate in some of the things but it was well worth it! Her teachers always commented on how "abnormally strong" she is for such a petite person. ha ha. (she gets it from me... Just kidding!) She has no fear... which I love about her, so swinging around high bars and doing "bear crawls" and "donkey kicks" and flips, and of coarse her favorite thing... walking across the balance beam was heaven sent in her eyes.
This is a picture of Kelli hanging from a bar... she could pull herself up on it and then just sit there and then of coarse instead of slowly getting down she'd just drop on the matt and laugh, and of coarse do it all over again!
