She DID IT!!!

We went and bought Kelli a little toddler toilet for her to be able to get up on it by herself cause the toilet in her bathroom was made for giants... no joke. Anyways, she finally did it. She went to the bathroom all by herself. We were so proud of her.. for her 'reward' for actually going to the bathroom in the toilet and not on the carpet was a bowl of ice cream. She's definatly is her mothers child. I love ice cream and could eat it for every meal and be perfectly content and feel great about myself. Kelli is the same way....

Growing Up TOO Fast!

We were over at my moms house and Kelli was upstairs playing in her old room... I went up to check on her and I found her laying in a 'big girl' bed with a huge stack of books by her... I can't believe she's starting to do such big girl things. I can't believe it.. I just watch her everyday change and get older and more mature. I don't think I'm ready for her to be in a big girl bed cause I think that would be 'bye bye naps' and I'm not ready for that.... I still need a nap now that I'm preggs. I'm exhausted and not sleeping at night... we'll definatly have to work on this whole growing up thing. Another good thing about this new discovery is I was so proud that she had a stack of books next to her. How awesome is that?

Dance Competition

This is Danny and Kelli so intently watching my neices dance comp. Her team did so well and they kicked the other teams butt!! ha ha.. after their big show routine they even got a standing ovation! It's all about America and America based songs.. so it was pretty fun to watch them. We did have to get a huge tub of popcorn for Kelli to keep her entertained but it was worth it. Her attention span isn't the longest when you are confined to a small sitting area. Also, my neice Amanda just found out that she will be dancing this year at the stadium of fire for the 4th of July and she will be able to be there for the Hannah Montana/Miley Cirus concert. Lucky girl... I'm sure all of her friends are going to be so jealous. My sister is able to take her kids also. We'll miss them this 4th of July at the parade and everything but I'm sure they'll be able to find something to do to keep them entertained.

What the...

When we were in St. George we were able to stay with our friends Heather and Jordan. It was so fun to see them and to spend time with them... I do wish we could of seen them more; between them having work and school and me having my whole family down there we didn't get to seem them, amazingly enough!! One night while we were sitting around talking with Heather and Jordan we couldn't find Kelli. When we finally did find her she had put herself on the toilet and was just hanging out!! It was so awesome. I can't say that since then the road has be easy since she hasn't been able to quite judge when she needs to go to the bathroom... so she'll sit on the toilet and then leave and pee on the floor. Its a vicious cycle and if I were feeling better I dont think it would get to me that bad.. but it does. One of these days she'll get it. I just need to be more patient!

St. George Park

We went down to St. George for my neices dance compeition for the weekend. It was so much fun! My parents came down, my grandparents came down, my sister Michelle and her family, and also my brother Ryan and his little family came up from Ariozona also! It was so much fun to get away from life and to be able to just vedge and be together as a family. It was such beautiful weather, especially concidering on the drive down we were driving through rain and snow! A couple of the afternoons were spent at the park--- here are some pictures of Kelli playing at the park on the toys.

Peek-A-Boo

Danny and I were in the other room, and Kelli was all of a sudden very quietly playing in her room... which is never good. So Danny snuck up on her and he couldn't find her in her in her room-- then he yelled for me to come with the camera.. and this is what we found.. Kelli playing in her play kitchen oven!!! It was so cute and so hilarous to see her jammed in her kitchen. Its amazing the places these kids find to hide. Little Stinker!!

I love this face... This is Kelli watching her 101 Dalmations. She's finally getting into the stage of liking her movies. It comes in handy. There is rarely a time when I can get a picture of her sitting still. She's getting so old and her 2nd birthday is coming up and I can't believe I have an almost 2 year old. Where does time go?

Broken Leg

Duke broke his leg today. This is not an April fools joke either. I wish it were cause that would mean I had the smartest cat ever! I came home from pancake tuesday and he wasn't putting pressure on it. So Danny toke him to the vet and he came home with a bright orange cast on his arm. Its so sad to see him so helpless but hopefully he'll make a speedy recovery. The cast wont come off for 14 days so.... wish me luck.
